Plasma technology is the exciting new treatment taking the aesthetic market by storm. With a variation of devices on the market, Collagene Aesthetics took time to extensively research the treatment, most specifically as it relates to the device delivering the treatment. We are excited to offer Subnovii, an Advanced Plasma technology that employs LF+ Technology, unlike other devices.

So what, exactly does a Subnovii Plasma treatment entail? It effectively takes advantage of the fine layer of ionized gas, or plasma, that exists along the surface of your skin. Plasma devices emit energy that instantly sublimates a precise spot on the skin area. A sealed wound is created and shock delivered to the tissue below to stimulate fibroblast activity which stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. The tip of the plasma device never actually touches the skin but it’s the power of molecular physics that gives this treatment its magic.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SUBNOVII

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH SUBNOVII?

The most popular areas to treat are around the eyes (both upper and lower), peri-oral (around the mouth), forehead, jawline, decollete and neck. Because Subnovii can target very specific areas of concern, your provider may discuss combining with other aesthetic treatments.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

The length of the procedure will depend on the area you are treating. This is an ‘in office’ procedure and you’ll easily be you may be headed home minutes after the procedure.

WHAT POST-CARE STEPS ARE REQUIRED?

Every patient will receive specially formulated post-care products and instructions to keep the area dry to help with the healing process. It is important to use sun protection long after treatment.

WHEN WILL YOU SEE THE RESULTS?

Results can be seen immediately after the treatment and beyond. You will see continued improvements for up to 6 months after your Subnovii procedure.

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR SUBNOVII?

Talk to your provider about whether treatment with Subnovii is right for you. Some skin types may be at risk of post-procedure pigmentation issues, so it’s important to talk with a licensed aesthetic provider.

WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR SUBNOVII TREATMENT?

Because the plasma device creates an instant wound on the skin, small scabs will form that can take 5-10 days to fall off. The scabs are a natural and protective barrier to the magic taking place below. Because the treatment area is immediately sealed, there is a very low risk of side effects but the skin may feel tight and itchy as the area heals. Once the scabs fall off, the skin beneath may look pink. This is renewed skin and any redness should progressively fade.

Neurotoxins

Works by relaxing muscles beneath the skin to create a smoother appearance in the skin

Botox

Considered the gold standard in neuromodulator. It is a drug that weakens/paralyzes muscles smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Duration 3-4 months.

Jeuveau

Newest neuromodulator. Also called Newtox. Uses unique formula. Considered the main competitor to Botox. Studies have shown slightly faster onset, 50% less inflammation, and longer duration of action.

This is FDA-approved for facial wrinkles and lips. Can also be used on cheeks. Duration up to 1 year

Versa Plus

Considered a multi-purpose filler. It's a workhorse. Uses include nasolabial folds, and lips. duration up to 6 months.

Juvaderm Voluma XC

Used for cheeks and mid-face volume loss. Restores that curvature in the high cheekbone for women. Duration up to 2 years.

Restylane Kysse

The first lip filler designed with XpresHAnTechnology which is an innovative cross-linking gel. This results in flexible movement and natural looking volume proven to last up to 12 months. It enhances texture AND color of the lips while maintaining a full range of expressions. Most natural looking lips in motion. It also reduces wrinkles on the lips

FDA approved for lips and duration is 1-3 years.

Revanesse Lips Plus

This product will add just the right amount of fullness for that voluptuous look. That will keep you turning heads. The technology involved allows for amazing shape and the appearance of supple yet soft lips. There is minimal swelling and downtime. Mutiple studies show that patients love this product as well as doctors. May last up to 12 months.

Resylane- L (classic)

This is FDA approved for lips. Can also be used to treat moderate-severe wrinkles anywhere on the face. Duration 18+ months

Restylane Refyne

Very flexible filler. Ideal for areas of high movement. Softens the laugh lines (nasolabial folds), and creases around corner of mouth to the chin (marionettes). Duration 12 months

Restylane Defyne

Great filler for severe deep wrinkles and folds. Also highly flexible at the same time. Duration 12 months

Restylane Contour

FDA approved for cheek augmentation and midface contouring. Also uses patented XpresHAn technology to integrate filler gel seamlessly into the skin promoting a more natural movement with each facial expression

We use only V-Soft line polydiaxanone (PDO) threads which have small barbs that are inserted into targeted areas to "lift" the skin. Considered a non-surgical face lift. These can be inserted in multiple vectors to achieve maximal results. Great for that nasolabial fold, sagging jaw line, or jowling. These lifting barbs stimulate tissue fibroblast to make new collagen and elastin and strengthen connective tissue of face. Dissolve fully in 4-6 months. Duration up to 24 months. results may vary.
